WiFi, TV & Adaptors

MODEM LOCATION: The CYTA internet modem is next to the black furniture by the property entrance door.

INTERNET SPEED: The Internet Speed of the property is 100 Mbps. An internet speed of 100 Mbps is fast enough for streaming videos in HD, Netflix, Youtube and for video chat meetings over Skype or Zoom, and playing multiplayer online games.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Usually any WiFi issues are related to personal devices. Please make sure the problem is not related to your personal device by pressing the “Forget Network” button on your device and try to connect again.

If this doesn’t work, then check the TV if Netflix or Youtube are working – if they are working it means the WiFi has no issues and the problem might be on your personal device. Try to connect to the WiFi from a different personal device. If the WiFi works on a different personal device it means that the issue is on your device. Please consult the device manufacturer information to resolve.

If the problem is not with your personal device, you can restart the modem:

  • Make sure the WiFi button on the CYTA modem is ON.
  • Turn OFF the CYTA modem by pressing the ON/OFF button.
  • Wait for 5 minutes.
  • Turn the CYTA modem back ON.
  • Turn the WiFi OFF at your personal device and/or click “Forget Network” on your device and try to connect again.

You may connect your laptop with an Ethernet wire to the CYTA Internet modem if you wish.

Please note that an Ethernet wire is required in such case (not provided).

There is a smart TV at the property with Netflix, Youtube, HDMI and USB ports. Please note that you may login with your own Netflix account.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

The TV is connected to the property WiFi. In case Netflix, Youtube etc is not working please make sure that the WiFi is working by checking one of your personal devices.

In Cyprus the power plug sockets are of type G like in the UK. The standard voltage is 240 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.
